Small but feisty, eastern freshwater prawns are a common catch in NSW and QLD estuaries and freshwater reaches. Target them with tiny lures or baits like live bloodworms in shallow waters less than 2m deep. Not usually eaten due to their small size, but fun to catch on light gear.
