Overview: about eyestripe surgeonfish
Small to medium-sized reef fish found in NSW, QLD and WA, putting up a decent fight on light tackle. Target them with small jigs, soft plastics or fly in 5-50m over coral reefs and rocky offshore structures. Not highly prized for eating, but a common catch in tropical and subtropical bay and reef environments.
