Inshore reef emperor of northern Australia, often the most common emperor on rubble and weed bottoms across QLD and NT. Targeted with bait and small soft plastics around shallow reef. Great table fish; the staple emperor of small boats in Moreton Bay and the Whitsundays.
Generally fished with medium tackle — match gear to the conditions and the size of fish you expect.
