Overview: about longnose trevally

Moderate-sized trevally with a strong fight, found in inshore reefs and estuaries off NSW and WA. Target with small jigs, soft plastics and metal slices in 30-60m, often near structure. Good to eat, with a sweet flavour and firm texture.
