Magpie Perch are feisty reef dwellers found over rocky structure in southern NSW and VIC. They're targeted with small jigs, soft plastics and live baits in 10-50m, often requiring finesse and patience. Good eating fish with flaky white flesh, but beware of their sharp spines when handling.
