Overview: about southern conger eel
Large eel with strong fighting ability, found in reef and inshore areas off NSW, SA and TAS. Target with bait or lures in 10-100m, using heavy tackle to muscle them away from structure. Good eating, but be prepared for a intense battle when hooked.
