Overview: about southern school whiting

Schooling whiting found in NSW, VIC and WA waters, often caught in bays and estuaries. Target with small baits, soft plastics or tiny jigs in 1-30m, and deeper offshore in 100-169m. Good eating fish, but often overshadowed by the prized King George whiting.
