Overview: about spotted eagle ray
Large and powerful ray with venomous spines, found over reefs and in bays off NSW and WA. Target with bait or lures worked on the bottom in 10-50m, using heavy tackle to wear them down. Be careful handling due to moderate venom in their pectoral spines.
