Overview: about torpedo scad

Fast-swimming pelagic predator found in inshore and offshore waters off NSW and WA, growing to 80cm. Target with small jigs, metal slices and baitfish-pattern lures in 10-50m, often in schools near reefs and structure. Good eating fish with a strong flavour, worth chasing for their speed and agility.
