Slim toothy southern Australian inshore predator, common in bays and inshore reef of VIC, TAS, SA and southern WA. Caught on small metals and minnows around bait schools. Distinct from northern barracudas — caution with teeth.
Generally fished with light tackle — match gear to the conditions and the size of fish you expect.
