Medium-sized reef snapper found over offshore reefs in NSW, QLD and WA, putting up a decent fight on lighter tackle. Target with small jigs, soft plastics or metal slices in 10-100m, often schooling near baitfish and structure. Good to eat, but be prepared for picky feeding habits.
