The Kurnell side of Botany Bay drops into deeper water close to the headland, with kingfish patrolling the points and mulloway holding in the channels. Flathead and squid spread across the sandy edges.

Situation. A trough has crossed Sydney Waters, and a low pressure system is forming within the trough off the south coast. The low will then head further offshore and remain over the Tasman Sea for the next several days, whipping fresh to strong southerly winds and large powerful waves to the coastline mid to late this week.
