Field notes
Inshore reef and gravel about 2-3nm east of the Brunswick bar. Snapper and parrot year-round, longtails and mac tuna on the surface through summer, with mahi-mahi when the warm water pushes south.

Situation. A cold front is crossing northeast NSW Sunday morning then will move offshore into the Tasman Sea through the day. Another weak ridge is forecast in the wake of the front Sunday, followed by a series of fronts slipping south of the state through Monday onwards.
Sunday 6 September until midnight. Winds: North to northwesterly 15 to 20 knots shifting south to southeasterly in the late morning. Winds reaching up to 25 knots south of Yamba during the afternoon and evening. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres by early evening. 1st Swell: Southerly around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 2 metres later in the evening. 2nd Swell: Northerly around 1 metre. Weather: Sunny.
Monday 7 September. Winds: Southerly 15 to 20 knots turning southeasterly 10 to 15 knots in the late afternoon. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing to 1 metre during the morning. Swell: Southerly 1 to 2 metres inshore, increasing to 2 to 3 metres offshore. Weather: Partly cloudy.
Tuesday 8 September. Winds: Southerly 15 to 25 knots. Seas: Below 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 2 metres during the morning. Swell: Southerly 1.5 to 2 metres, decreasing to 1.5 metres during the morning. Weather: Partly cloudy. 80% chance of showers.
