Field notes

Sandstone-country river running through Nitmiluk NP, accessed at the Stuart Highway crossing south of Pine Creek and via Leliyn (Edith Falls). Sooty grunter and archerfish in the rock pools and runs. Swimming areas are croc-checked seasonally; the lower river is not.
