Field notes
Former hot-water outlet from the Northern Power Station, closed since 2016 but still part of upper-gulf folklore. Mulloway and large bream historically stacked on the warm plume; without flow the spot now fishes as a regular gulf shoreline. Worth a look on bigger tides.

Situation. A trough crosses South Australia on Tuesday evening, followed by a series of weak cold fronts that cross the south of the State during Wednesday. A ridge of high pressure will build over the west of the State from later Wednesday, with the high centre expected to cross South Australia on Friday and Saturday.
Tuesday 21 July until midnight. Winds: Southwesterly 10 to 15 knots. Seas: Around 1 metre. Swell: Southwesterly 1.5 to 2 metres. Weather: Mostly clear.
Wednesday 22 July. Winds: Southwesterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots offshore during the morning. Winds turning southerly during the day. Seas: Around 1 metre. Swell: Southwesterly 1.5 to 2.5 metres. Weather: Partly cloudy. 70% chance of showers.
Thursday 23 July. Winds: Southerly 15 to 20 knots turning southeasterly 10 to 15 knots during the day. Seas: Around 1 metre. Swell: Southwesterly 2.5 to 3 metres inshore, increasing to 2.5 to 4 metres offshore. Weather: Partly cloudy. 60% chance of showers.
