Small creek and beach east of Apollo Bay with a boat-launching ramp on the foreshore. Beach picks up Australian salmon and gummy sharks; the inshore reefs out from the ramp hold snapper, morwong and calamari.

Situation. A weak cold front approaches western Victoria this evening and crosses southern Victoria and Bass Strait on Wednesday. A high pressure system in the Bight will extend a ridge east over Victoria and Bass Strait on Thursday behind the front. A firm ridge will then persist over Bass Strait from Friday and across the weekend directing a westerly flow.
Tuesday 21 July until midnight. Winds: Northwesterly 15 to 20 knots. Seas: Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore. Swell: Westerly 2 to 2.5 metres. Weather: Cloudy. 70% chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm in the far west.
Wednesday 22 July. Strong Wind Warning for Wednesday for West Coast Winds: Northwesterly 15 to 25 knots turning west to southwesterly 20 to 25 knots during the morning and early afternoon. Winds reaching up to 30 knots in the far east during the morning. Seas: 1.5 to 2 metres. Swell: Southwesterly 2 metres, increasing to 2 to 3 metres during the morning. Weather: Cloudy. Near 100% chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm offshore in the morning and afternoon. Possible small hail in the late afternoon and evening.
