Isolated bommie north-east of Cape Moreton on the approach to the Flinders Reef complex. Holds snapper, pearl perch, sweetlip and amberjack in 35-45m, with mackerel and cobia working the top in season. Check current Moreton Bay Marine Park zoning - parts of Flinders are green-zoned.

Situation. A ridge of high pressure extends over the southern and central Queensland waters from a high [1033 hPa] centred over the southern Tasman Sea. This pattern will persist over coming days as the high slowly weakens.
Thursday 22 October until midnight. Winds: Northeasterly 15 to 20 knots. Seas: Below 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres south of Cape Capricorn.
