Seasonal DPIRD FAD offshore of Two Rocks in deep water, deployed summer through autumn. Mahi-mahi the headline target, with samson, yellowtail kingies and pelagic bycatch. Trolled small skirts and pitched livies both work; check DPIRD for current coordinates.

Situation. A ridge is strengthening over the west coast with a weak cold front moving along the southeast coast of the state today. The ridge will then move south and strengthen on Wednesday in the wake of the cold front.
Tuesday 21 July until midnight. Strong Wind Warning for Tuesday for Ningaloo Coast Winds: Southerly 15 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore south of Coral Bay in the late evening. Seas: 1 to 2 metres. Swell: South to southwesterly 1 to 1.5 metres inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore north of Coral Bay. Weather: Sunny.
Wednesday 22 July. Strong Wind Warning for Wednesday for Ningaloo Coast Winds: South to southeasterly 15 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore south of Coral Bay early in the morning. Seas: 1 to 2 metres, decreasing below 1 metre during the afternoon. 1st Swell: Southwesterly 1 to 1.5 metres inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore. 2nd Swell: Northeasterly around 1 metre north of Coral Bay, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres by early evening. Weather: Sunny.
Friday 24 July. Winds: Southeasterly 15 to 20 knots tending easterly during the morning then turning southerly 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing below 1 metre during the afternoon or evening. 1st Swell: Southwesterly 1 to 1.5 metres inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore. 2nd Swell: North to northeasterly below 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore north of Coral Bay.
