Field notes

Tidal river south-east of Darwin, classic Top End barramundi water. Run-off period Feb-May produces the best barra action at creek mouths and snags. Threadfin salmon and mangrove jack year-round in the lower reaches. Major saltwater crocodile habitat - stay in the boat at all times.
