Far west coast jetty looking out into Murat Bay. KGW, garfish and squid the standard catch, with salmon trout and trevally in the bay through the cooler months. Mulloway a chance from the deeper end after dark on fresh bait.

Situation. A trough of low pressure lingers about the east, before weakening later today, as a slow moving high pressure system in the Tasman Sea will re-establish a ridge across southern parts. A trough is then forecast to briefly move into the west on Thursday, before another trough and cold front move more broadly across SA on Friday and Saturday.
Wednesday 21 October until midnight. Winds: East to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots tending east to southeasterly in the early afternoon. Seas: Around 1 metre. Swell: Southwesterly 2 to 3 metres. Weather: Partly cloudy.
Thursday 22 October. Winds: East to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots tending northwest to northeasterly in the morning then tending south to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots in the early afternoon.
