Situation. A weak cold front crossed the southwest of the state early Thursday morning, with further weak fronts expected over the next few days. A new ridge will develop over southern WA on the weekend.
Thursday 22 October until midnight. Strong Wind Warning for Thursday for Leeuwin Coast Winds: Westerly 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 30 knots east of Cape Leeuwin during the morning. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres east of Cape Leeuwin. Swell: Southwesterly 4 to 5 metres. Weather: Partly cloudy. 60% chance of showers.
