Large island off the northern Arnhem coast with the community of Minjilang on its western side. Access by permit and via the Minjilang-based lodge; reef edges, headlands and creek mouths produce GT, Spanish mackerel, golden snapper and barramundi.

Situation. A weak ridge across the Gulf of Carpentaria and Top End is contracting east as a broad trough extends across the Territory from the west.
Thursday 22 October until midnight. Winds: North to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots tending west to northwesterly below 10 knots in the afternoon. Seas: Below 0.5 metres, increasing to around 1 metre south of Channel Point. Swell: Westerly below 1 metre. Weather: Mostly sunny.
Friday 23 October. Winds: West to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots becoming north to northwesterly about 10 knots in the morning then tending west to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots in the middle of the day. Winds reaching up to 20 knots inshore in the early afternoon. Seas: Below 1 metre, increasing to around 1 metre south of Channel Point. Swell: Westerly below 1 metre. Weather: Mostly sunny.
