Short pier off Mordialloc Creek with sand bottom and scattered weed. Squid at dawn and dusk, garfish under a float in calm weather, salmon and pinkies on running tides. Reliable family pier with easy parking.

Situation. A high pressure ridge will extend across the north of the State whilst a couple of weak cold fronts will cross to the south today and early Wednesday. The high pressure ridge will extend across the remainder of the State late Wednesday then persist for Thursday and Friday. The main high centre will move southeast on Saturday but will continue to extend a ridge over Victoria.
