Deep water close in off North Head with reef structure and bait holding through the warmer months. Kingfish on live yakkas, mulloway at night on slimy mackerel, salmon and bonito on metals when the bait pushes in.

Situation. A trough has crossed Sydney Waters, and a low pressure system is forming within the trough off the south coast. The low will then head further offshore and remain over the Tasman Sea for the next several days, whipping fresh to strong southerly winds and large powerful waves to the coastline mid to late this week.
