We don't predict tides on-site — BOM's published tables are authoritative.
BOM · Sydney Enclosed WatersIssued at 10:00 am EST on Wednesday 10 June 2026
Situation. A strong high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is slowly drifting eastwards while directing north to northeasterly winds over Sydney Waters. A trough is forecast to sweep Sydney Waters on Thursday, with a southerly wind change in its wake. Winds will then turn northerly again later in the week as the trough weakens. A cold front sweeping the south looks set to bring another southerly change on the weekend.
Wednesday 10 June until midnight. Winds: Northerly 10 to 15 knots becoming northwesterly below 10 knots in the evening. Seas: Below 0.5 metres. Weather: Partly cloudy. 60% chance of showers.
Thursday 11 June. Winds: West to northwesterly below 10 knots becoming south to southwesterly in the middle of the day then becoming westerly in the late evening. Seas: Below 0.5 metres. Weather: Partly cloudy. 60% chance of showers.
Friday 12 June. Winds: West to southwesterly below 10 knots becoming east to southeasterly during the afternoon then becoming north to northwesterly during the evening. Seas: Below 0.5 metres. Weather: Partly cloudy.
Saturday 13 June. Winds: North to northwesterly below 10 knots. Seas: Below 0.5 metres. Weather: Partly cloudy.

Best windows combine civil twilight with the hour either side of sun transit — the universal low-light feeding window most species respond to. Moon phase influence is folkloric; full and new moons coincide with the strongest tide swings.
