Situation. Southwesterly winds will persist today for the Sydney Waters in the wake of a cold front moving across the Tasman Sea. Winds are expected to ease and tend westerly over the weekend as a high pressure ridge moves over the region. The high is forecast to enter the Tasman Sea during Monday, turning the winds northerly ahead of the next cold front crossing the coastal waters during mid next week.
Saturday 25 July until midnight. Winds: Westerly 10 to 15 knots decreasing to about 10 knots in the middle of the day. Seas: Below 0.5 metres. Weather: Sunny.
Sunday 26 July. Winds: West to southwesterly about 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots before dawn then becoming variable below 10 knots in the morning. Seas: Below 0.5 metres. Weather: Mostly sunny.
Monday 27 July. Winds: Westerly below 10 knots becoming northeasterly during the day then becoming north to northwesterly during the evening. Seas: Below 0.5 metres. Weather: Mostly sunny.
