Wild cliff country north of Carnarvon, famous for big mulloway, spanish mackerel and the occasional billfish from the rocks. Heavy gear, gaffs and a spotter are essential. Sharks are a real factor on hooked fish.

Situation. A ridge is strengthening over the west coast with a weak cold front moving along the southeast coast of the state today. The ridge will then move south and strengthen on Wednesday in the wake of the cold front.
Tuesday 21 July until midnight. Strong Wind Warning for Tuesday for Ningaloo Coast Winds: Southerly 15 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore south of Coral Bay in the late evening. Seas: 1 to 2 metres. Swell: South to southwesterly 1 to 1.5 metres inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore north of Coral Bay. Weather: Sunny.
Wednesday 22 July. Strong Wind Warning for Wednesday for Ningaloo Coast Winds: South to southeasterly 15 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore south of Coral Bay early in the morning.
