The westernmost point of mainland Australia and arguably the country's premier land-based gamefishing mark. Spanish mackerel, longtail tuna, sailfish and even marlin have all been taken from the cliffs. Serious 4WD access only and tides matter — always fish with a spotter.

Situation. A weak cold front crossed the southwest of the state early Thursday morning, with further weak fronts expected over the next few days. A new ridge will develop over southern WA on the weekend.
Thursday 22 October until midnight. Strong Wind Warning for Thursday for Ningaloo Coast Winds: Southerly 15 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots inshore in the late afternoon. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres during the afternoon. Swell: Southwesterly 2.5 to 3 metres. Weather: Mostly sunny.
