Hypersaline arm on the western Shark Bay side accessed via boat from Denham. Pink snapper a feature alongside mangrove jacks in the inner reaches and big-water whiting on the flats. Strict sanctuary zones nearby - check Shark Bay Marine Park maps.

Situation. A ridge is strengthening over the west coast with a weak cold front moving along the southeast coast of the state today. The ridge will then move south and strengthen on Wednesday in the wake of the cold front.
Tuesday 21 July until midnight. Strong Wind Warning for Tuesday for Ningaloo Coast Winds: Southerly 20 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore in the evening. Seas: 1.5 to 2 metres. Swell: South to southwesterly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore. Weather: Clear.
Wednesday 22 July. Strong Wind Warning for Wednesday for Ningaloo Coast Winds: South to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore early in the morning. Seas: 1.5 to 2.5 metres, decreasing to 1 to 1.5 metres around midday. Swell: South to southwesterly 1 to 2 metres. Weather: Sunny.
