Sheltered bay east of Albany backed by the nature reserve. Salmon schools push through autumn, with herring, skippy and the odd snapper inside the rocks. Land-based off the headlands or launch a tinnie at Little Beach for inshore drifts.

Situation. A ridge lies over southern WA and gradually moves east during today and Wednesday. A weak cold front moves over southwest parts during Thursday, before another ridge develops over the southwest during Friday.
Tuesday 19 May until midnight. Winds: Northerly about 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the late evening. Seas: Below 1 metre. Swell: Southwesterly 2.5 to 3 metres. Weather: Mostly clear.
Wednesday 20 May. Winds: North to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots offshore east of Cape Leeuwin during the morning and early afternoon. Winds tending northwest to southwesterly in the morning then becoming variable below 10 knots in the evening. Seas: Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the morning, then decreasing below 1 metre during the afternoon. Swell: Southwesterly 2.5 to 3 metres. Weather: Partly cloudy. 60% chance of showers.
Thursday 21 May. Winds: Variable about 10 knots becoming south to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots before dawn. Seas: Below 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the morning.
