Southern arm of the Peel-Harvey system, connected to Peel Inlet and to the ocean via the Dawesville Cut. Black bream along the timbered edges, sea mullet and yellowfin whiting on the flats, with blue swimmer crabs in season. Boat-only access to most water.

Situation. A weak cold front crossed the southwest of the state early Thursday morning, with further weak fronts expected over the next few days. A new ridge will develop over southern WA on the weekend.
Thursday 22 October until midnight. Strong Wind Warning for Thursday for Ningaloo Coast Winds: Southerly 15 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots inshore in the late afternoon. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres during the afternoon. Swell: Southwesterly 2.5 to 3 metres. Weather: Mostly sunny.
